LARP?

If anyone is interested I know of a Vampire LARP running in Bristol, from what I've heard from my brother it doesn't have combat and is more of a political game but I havn't been there myself. tk.rpg-sandwich.co.uk/that should take you to a forum for the vampire LARP and also another LARP which is the more rule heavy combat type. also I read someone mention CCG based LARP which i'd be interested in and I was wondering if anyone had heard of yu-gi-oh or magic the gathering based LARPs before?

I'd avoid the Bristol Vamp LARP. I've been along t a couple of sessions and they're not exactly newbie friendly. I haven't eard of a CCG based LARP in the UK but their quite popular in the states.
Edit: The Three Kingdoms LARP is apparently based in Cardiff. Not really convienient for regular attendance. I'll be going to the BLADES and elysium larps at weekends from the begining of the spring term though so anyone interested in trying out a 'boffer' combat based LARP is welcome to join me. I'll be actively canvasing for members nearer the time so come and ask me for details.
