So who else has a problem with finishing games? I buy way too many, sometimes don't play them for weeks after buying them, and then move on to something else before they're finished.
It's terrible! Last summer I sat down for a few days and made myself finish God Hand, Viewtiful Joe and Okami (see a pattern here?). It was very satisfying, but goddamn Viewtiful Joe and God Hand don't half have some ball bustingly difficult bits.
Now I'm working on FINALLY completing Mass Effect, so I can play the second one.
What about you guys? This a familiar problem?

I've got a similar problem. I've got six PSP games here at UWE at the moment: DISSIDIA: Final Fantasy - Incredibly entertaining, but I can't be bothered to complete it. Higurashi Daybreak Portable MEGA EDITION - a very fun fighting game based on an anime/manga that I adore [INCOMPLETE] Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? - 2 bosses left to beat (one is a DLC boss) and I can't be bothered GitS: SAC - I love my Tachikoma! [INCOMPLETE] Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - I beat Priere, I'm satisfied. Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days - spending far too much time playing it.
I've also got three Wii games that I left at home: Sonic and the Black Knight - second fight against Arthur is an arse. [INCOMPLETE] Metroid Prime Trilogy - Halfway through Prime 2: Echoes (Chykka is a bastard) Muramasa: The Demon Blade - 5/6 endings achieved.

Or like how Rembrandt was blind and had wooden hands.

to hand/off the top of my head:
Dissida - overrated, its fun.. but the inanely repetitive grinding for items with no rpg story to really break it up is just dull Persona 3 - legendary, just need the time to play it rogue galaxy guilty gear x2 valkyrie profile tales of symphonia psychonauts (so close to the end!) gungrave star ocean 3 (under level 10 playthrough) Pokemon Pearl Castlevania - portrait of ruin (under level 25 playthrough)
what i can think of.. a lot of these i will finish, and its why i'm not getting more games atm, although some are second playthroughs, and some i have no intention of finishing (see dissidia)

Ah-hah I see some familiar titles here, I'll try and list the games I've got incomplete.
Odin Sphere - I'll never complete this, I did two characters and cannot be bothered to do the same again Persona 3 - One month off the end Persona 4 - Haven't started, bought it very cheap. Feel the mental need to beat 3 first.
Muramasa - Haven't started, bought it cheap. Will surely thoroughly enjoy when I find time. Wario Land: The Shake Dimension - Haven't gotten particularly far. Fun game. Frustrating to fail the challenges. Trauma Center (Can't remember full name, the non-DS port one) - Fantastic game in co-op. Will definitely beat it during a holiday some time. Metroid Prime Trilogy - I'm still on the first game! I get sidetracked trying to find things/remember where previously inaccesible areas were.
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Very nice game. I'll plough through the final story part when I next play. Finding goodies/filling in the map is too addictive! Eternal Darkness - Was fun, but I don't think I'll ever complete it. Too tedious in parts.
I won't begin to list PC games, Steam sales have me buy games for £2 and play them once. Let's just say Psychonauts is in there, and about all the Total War games. I also exclude games I didn't pay for. I don't feel an obligation to myself to complete them.
Gathius, I see you listed Gungrave. The game has about two hours of gameplay and I beat it in one sitting! Please go and complete it now.

Update for my game-completion rate:
Muramasa: the Demon Blade - 6/6 endings: easy mode complete. Fav ending: Kisuke's 3rd/Momohime's 2nd. Metroid Prime Trilogy - Spider-Ball guardian defeated (first boss of Sanctuary Fortress, my fav area of the game, mostly because it's where I unlock the Screw Attack).

Good work dude. I dragged myself from my work and completed Mass Effect. Next week... With all my assignments handed in... I'll definitely set the Wii up and play more Metroid Prime. I love Metroid, and I've neglected it for far too long!
Oh, and maybe I'll start Muramasa too. Is it really that compelling that you needed to see all the endings, or are you just a die-hard completionist?

I just really wanted to see all of the endings (they're not that hard to get on easy). [not really a spoiler, more along the lines of ENDING MOODS SPOILED:] Momohime/Kisuke 1st ending: defeat final bosses. [neutral endings] Momohime/Kisuke 2nd ending: enter final boss battles while equipped with both Mumei Tamanoo and Tsukiotoshi (You get one of these swords from either character's final boss - I think you get Tsukiotoshi from Momohime's final boss and Mumei Tamanoo from Kisuke's final boss) [neutral/slightly bittersweet endings] Momohime/Kisuke 3rd ending: enter final boss battles while equipped with Oboro Muramasa - 'the Destroyer of Destiny' (the 108th and final sword in the game) [good endings]
