Today I bought Mikado from Sainsbury's. I like to call Mikado "Fake Pocky". It's like a Nicorette patch for Pocky addicts! I wouldn't mind getting some REAL Pocky though...

www.waiyeehong.com/ this is the closest place to Frenchay that should stock Pocky. It's somewhere near Ikea so should be easy enough to find. If not I'll pick some up next time I go see parents.

Mikado is actually exactly the same as normal milk chocolate Pocky, its just that Glico choose to call it Mikado in Europe. So you are eating real Pocky... My favourites are the Almond Crush, Cookie Crush and Pineapple. I love the Pumpkin one as well!

Apparently it's because there's already a registered Pocky brand in France. The advert for Mikado is the same as the Pocky one, minus that in Japan you get the see the photocopies of the girl's butt
